A Very Intense Game of Spoons!

We had such a fun holiday this year. Avree was so excited about everything. She loved the fact that she had so many presents. She kept asking me " Is this one for me too?" It was a great time to look back on all that we have done this year. It has been so fun having a new baby and this time of year really makes that so special. It was kind of crazy trying to get ready but finally a few days before Christmas I was able to sit back and enjoy and focus a little more on what is important. I have so many things to be grateful for and such great people in my life. I just want to tell all of my family how much I love and apprecitae them. We are so close with both Nick's family and mine and I feel so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life. We had some great parties over the holidays and it just reminds me how much I love all of you.

Sledding at Grandma's Hill

Over the holiday we went sledding at Grandma's. We had so much fun. Avree had a blast and giggled the whole time. My niece Kayla came and she and I had quite a ride!! When we were finally done it was so cold that we had icicles in our hair.

We have had our tree up since the day after Thanksgiving. With a two year old this is quite the temptation. She has been pretty good but every once in a while I will notice a bunch of ornaments all together in one spot. I guess she thinks that it looks better that way! Who knows really, also she thinks it is so cool to plug the tree in. She loves when the lights come on. This kinda makes me a little nervous too. I don't really get mad at her when she plays with the tree most of the time though because I remember when I was little and loved the tree. I would lay clear up under it and just stare up at the lights. Some days I wish I had time to just lay under the tree. Wouldn't that be nice! Also Kason is now two months old and time is just going by so fast. He is such a happy baby. My father-in-law calls him Kramer because of his hair and you can really see it in this picture!!

Mornings

Lately I just love the morning. I guess it is because my kids are so happy in the morning. It is so fun when Avree comes in my room in the morning and is so excited to start the day. She loves routine so first it's get some breakfast and watch Dora or the Wonder Pets. (Yes I have all of the songs memorized.) Then it's off to the tub for her and Kason. She loves the tub and anything that has to do with water. She would stay in the tub for hours if I would let her. Then I get them dressed and make sure they are plastered in Baby Magic. I love the smell of that stuff on a baby and I still rub it on Avree. There is just nothing like a baby (or a two year old for that matter) that smells like Baby Magic. Then once they are dressed and hair is done we play for a while. She loves to play with Kason, and this is when he smiles the most. I finally caught a pretty good smile but he turned his head. So here are some pictures of my kids in their jammies just playing on my bed. I guess those are just a few reasons why I love the morning.

Test Results Are In!!

Well the second set of blood work came back. Now I have another antibody so for now I can't get pregnant. (Like I would anyway, with a 2 month old!!) Then in four months we will test again. I guess all that I can do now is pray that in four months the antibodies are gone. So we will play the waiting game for now.

Bad News!

So here are some new pictures of Kason. We just took these a week or so ago. He is such a cute baby. We found out some bad news he may be our last child. After having him the doctor sent in my blood work and found some antibodies. I guess my body is now fighting the Rhogam shot that they give you so that your body does not attack the fetus. Now we are just waiting for the second set of blood to come back so that we know for sure. I could get pregnant again, but the baby would have to have blood transfusions the whole time that I was pregnant. So I guess you run that risk. I have never heard of this before. I was just wondering if any of you have heard of it?
