No More Binki!!

Yeah!! It has now been just over a week that Avree has not had a binki. It is so nice. Since we had Kason she has though that she needed it a little more and I don't blame her, her world has changed a lot in the last three months. But she is 2 1/2 and it is about time that she got rid of it. She hasn't slept very good since she doesn't have it but it is getting better. She has asked for it a few times and has even tried to take Kason's. She says " It's O.K. huh mom 'cause I can just borrow Kason's if I need a ding ding." It is hard for me but now that it has been a week it is much better. She is so cute and it is hard to say no but we need to. We tease her that she will be going to the prom and still be in diapers with her "ding ding!!"

The Cabin
The Snow was as High as the Car!!
So Beautiful!
Avree Ready To Go!
Brooklyn, Hailey, Hannah, Boston, (Holding Avree) Braxton
Kason All Bundled Up
The Girls in the "Boat." (That's what Avree called it.)
Kevin, Braxton & Boston Making Snow Caves

So this past weekend we were off for a few extra days so we packed up the car and headed to the cabin in Island Park. I have never seen so much snow in my whole life. It was amazing! We had so much fun pulling the kids behind the snowmobiles on the tubes and in the "boat" (That's what Avree called the sled.) We ate a lot of junk food and tried to stay warm. It was so beautiful there. We woke up and it had snowed so much we couldn't even see our cars anymore!! It was a fun relaxing vacation and thanks to all of Nick's family for the fun times and for helping me with my kids all weekend.

My Funny Little Girl!

So the other night Avree and I were just hanging out watching some Dora. She had eaten dinner and I hadn't so I went to see what was in the fridge. There wasn't much so I decided on a nutritious dinner of chips and cheese. (This is not on the New Years resolution to lose the baby weight diet.) But oh well. So as I sat down Avree asked if she could have some and of course I gave her a few chips. She looked at me like she was the adult and said, "You're such a good sharer mom." Then gave me the biggest, cheesiest grin. She is such a funny little girl. Nick and I just looked at each other and burst out laughing.
Also the other day we were riding in the car. She couldn't get her sipee cup to fit in the cup holder and I heard her say "Damn thing!" She was so mad that it wouldn't fit. It was so funny I just laughed and tried not to let her see me and said " We don't say that word." She has been hanging out with Grandma Deb a little too much!

A Very Intense Game of Spoons!

We had such a fun holiday this year. Avree was so excited about everything. She loved the fact that she had so many presents. She kept asking me " Is this one for me too?" It was a great time to look back on all that we have done this year. It has been so fun having a new baby and this time of year really makes that so special. It was kind of crazy trying to get ready but finally a few days before Christmas I was able to sit back and enjoy and focus a little more on what is important. I have so many things to be grateful for and such great people in my life. I just want to tell all of my family how much I love and apprecitae them. We are so close with both Nick's family and mine and I feel so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life. We had some great parties over the holidays and it just reminds me how much I love all of you.

Sledding at Grandma's Hill

Over the holiday we went sledding at Grandma's. We had so much fun. Avree had a blast and giggled the whole time. My niece Kayla came and she and I had quite a ride!! When we were finally done it was so cold that we had icicles in our hair.
