A Quick Update!

We just got back from a beautiful week in St. George and I will post pics as soon as I can. We had a great time with all of the clan. I just wanted to tell a quick story about the dentist visit we had today. A month or so ago we went for the first time to the dentist with Avree. She was so good and let them brush her teeth and she thought all of the tools were so cool. Well turns out she had a couple little cavities. (She takes after her dad, obviously!!) So today we had her appointment to have her fillings done and it was quite entertaining. They do what they call a consciouses sedation for little kids when doing fillings so they give them this stuff make them a little foggy but they are still awake. Well I guess every kid reacts to the medicine differently. Avree was so funny!!! The whole procedure only took about 20 minutes and so I went to the recovery room to get her and she was just laying there. The nurse was sitting with us just making sure that she was o.k. and she brought up Dora. Of course Avree loves Dora and went nuts as soon as she mentioned her. She started singing the songs and telling the nurse about Boots the monkey and even speaking a little Spanish:) That crazy girl!! So we were finally free to go after about a half hour of Dora talk. We got out into the waiting room and I was trying to get her coat on. All the while she can't sit up and is talking 90 miles and hour. So we get it on and she leans over as close to me as she can get and says "I Love You Mooom!" It was the cutest thing ever. Everyone in the waiting room was cracking up. Then she starts counting in Spanish again. I guess it was good entertainment for everyone! They all said goodbye to her and we were off to get Kason at Grandma's. It was quite a funny experience. She entertained my mom and I for the afternoon. My mom even made a video of her trying to walk and falling down a few times. She looked like she was drunk!! So that is our update for now. I will put some pics of St. George on as soon as I get my camera fixed!!

Here's to Crack Ups and Feeling Much Better!!

We are feeling much better as you can see. Avree has been cracking us up as usual. The other night we were eating dinner and Nick had finished his plate and went to put it in the sink. She looked over and said, "Good job Dad, you ate all yur dinner!" Then today we were getting out of the car and I took my coat off because I was hot. I was helping her out of her seat and she turned to me and said, " Mom I need to take my coat off I am toooo sunny." (Meaning hot.) Kason is doing much better and only has to have the breathing treatments twice a day. Here are some random pictures I took while we were out sick.

A Crazy Week!!

We have had such a crazy week at the Anderson house! Both good and bad but mostly just CRAZY!! On Sunday I noticed Av and Kason weren't feeling so hot so on Monday we went to the doctor. We found out that Kason has RSV and Avree has the same but because she is older it is not as severe as his! He has to have breathing treatments every 4 hours and lots of medicine for the cold and mucus. Yuck! So my whole week has been scheduled around the every 4 hours thing. And also trying to keep track of every 6 hours when he can have his medicine. I sometimes have to write it down because I can't remember when he last had it. Now that is when you know you have totally lost it!! He was supposed to have his well baby appointment on Tuesday but because we were already there they just did all of that too except the shots. We found out he weighs 15 lbs. 2 oz.. What a chunk! So that is the craziness of our week. Oh and tonight we have the Blue and Gold Banquet for the scouts! Yes, I am in scouts for all of you out there who are laughing and chuckling about that one! I know it is so not me but I guess the Lord likes to put me out of my comfort zone, and scouts is it!! I go and listen at the meetings and half of the time I have no idea even what they are talking about. So any of you out there that have done scouts please drop me a line with some tips!

Last Night was my niece Kayla's last home game!! She is a senior at Mountain Crest and an awesome athlete. She plays soccer, basketball and softball and is amazing at all of them! My kids just happen to be her #1 fans. We love you Kayla and you are such a great kid. Thanks for all that you do for my kids. They love you so much!! You are a great girl and I love your bubbly personality. You are always happy and brighten my day! I know that you will do great at college or whatever you decide.

Valentines Day Getaway!!

My sweet husband surprised me this weekend. He got tickets to the Jazz game and a hotel room at Little America!! It was so nice to go for one night with no kids and enjoy his company. We did a little shopping at the Gateway, (my favorite place) ate lots of food, and went to the game. Thanks Nick for the great weekend!!

Superbowl Sunday!! We were so excited for the party at Grandma & Grandpa Anderson's . Of course we got more snow and Avree was dying to build a snowman. So here was my attempt. We didn't have the "normal" things for the eyes, nose and mouth but we improvised. Some clementine oranges for eyes, a cookie for the nose and a red vine for the mouth. Also daddy gave us a visor for the hat. It works I guess!! Right before we left to go to Nick's parents for the Superbowl Kason was just chillin' in his jumperoo. He loves it. Then of course we get everything ready to go and he was out! He must have been so tired from all of that jumping!! I am sad that my 'boyfriend' Tom Brady lost the game after a great season but I am excited for the Giants. It was a great game.
