Tagged Again!

So I got tagged again. I guess when it rains it POURS!! And this is a hard one!! I have had a hard time thinking of what to write. Anyway, I have to write 6 things I like about myself... so here goes....
1. I always try and smile!! I like to see what a smile and a hello can do for someone else. I have tried to make this a habit. I notice when people smile at me and are genuinely concerned about how I am doing and what is going on in my life. So I always try to smile and maybe make someone's day a little better.

2. I work hard for what I have. I have always believed that if you want something you have to work hard to get it. I have been very blessed and I am so thankful for what I have. I have worked very hard to get where I am today and I am proud of myself and so grateful for my husband who has been right there with me teaching me as I go. Thanks Nick!! I have learned so much from you. i.e. sprinklers, car maintenance, painting, and yes, even sanding a school bus.

3. I am protective of those that I love. I have very special people in my life and I don't like when others treat them badly. I guess this is kinda the momma bear coming out in me. I pity the children that are mean to my kids! ha ha.

4. I am pretty creative. I love to decorate, paint, do craft projects, make curtains, etc. I always move things around in my house to make room for new things!!

5. I am constantly trying to learn. I have been working at the library for almost eight years now. I finished my classes and am now certified with the state. I have taken all of the computer classes that I can. I love to learn and so I am always looking for something new to do or to accomplish.

6. I am a truly happy person. I try to always have a positive outlook, and I have good reasons to do that. I feel like where I am right now is pretty good. I have a wonderful husband who always keeps me smiling. I have been blessed with two beautiful, healthy, children. I have great parents and siblings, and have married into a wonderful family who treats me as if I am their own. And life is good. I couldn't ask for anything more.

And so I tag... everyone who reads this!!! It is a good one. It takes a while but I think it is good to find the things that you like about yourself. I really had to think hard on this one!

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? Kind of I guess, my dad said I looked like an angel when I was born hence the name Angela so I guess you could say I was named after someone!

5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? One crazy little two and a half year old, one sweet, precious six month old, and one big twenty-six year old!!
6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Heck yes!!
7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? When you live with the most sarcastic person ever you have to!!
8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yes, thank goodness, it looks pretty painful to have them out!
9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? I am with Emily on this one, maybe for 2 million dollars, but probably not for anything less.
10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Waffle crisp! It is soooo good! Try it!
11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? A lot of my shoes don't tie, but if they do, yes I untie them.
12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? Not really, but I can carry a eighteen pound baby around in his carseat so I am getting there!!
13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? Pretty much any flavor that's the problem!! I really like Cold Stone!
14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? Their outfit or their hair.
15. RED OR PINK? Pink I Looooove Pink.
16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF? I think that I care too much about what other people think I need to just chill out and not care.

26. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? Basketball, I like to watch the Jazz with Nick! It was a great game last night! The games are even better when you are there though!
27. HAIR COLOR? Blonde with some highlights, I have been brown too though and I really liked it! It changes a lot!!
28. EYE COLOR? Green, with some blue. Sometimes they are more blue! Just depends on what I am wearing.
9. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? Yes, since like sixth grade.
30. FAVORITE FOOD? Pasta, Roast and Potatoes at Nick's parents house on Sundays.
31. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? Happy endings definetley!
32. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED? The whole thing????? Um probably I Am Legend. You don't get to watch a movie the whole way through when you have two kids unless you stay up really late.
33. WHAT COLOUR SHIRT ARE YOU WEARING? Teal Green
34. SUMMER OR WINTER? Summer, I love summer!

This weekend was so much fun!! Nick's sister Sasha invited us to stay at their house in Farmington on Friday night. We drove down Friday morning and met up with Nick's parents and sisters. Then we went to lunch and did a little shopping at Target. After we went to Little America and let the kids swim. They had a blast in the pool. Then of course we went to dinner at the Spaghetti Factory. (It's tradish:) On Saturday we headed up to Park City to hit the outlets for some serious shopping. We had a great time and really appreciate Sasha and her family letting us stay at their house! We even had our own little apartment downstairs. Thanks Sash and yes you do have a sick, sweet ride!!

Looking outside today you wouldn't know it but yesterday was like 70 degrees so we went to the park with the cousins! We enjoyed the warm weather and were outside pretty much all day. Avree insisted on wearing her sunglasses and I got a few cute pictures with her wearing them. Does anybody know a two year old that has to wear sunglasses?? Well I guess when you are two going on fifteen it is a must! So that is the latest in the life of the Anderson's.

So lately almost every day Kason falls asleep in his jumperoo. He jumps and jumps and the next thing I know he's OUT! I don't know if it just wears him out or if it is just routine now. But here are some cute pics I got of him. I take one like everyday because I think it is so cute!! Oh, and I just had to throw one of Avree in that I thought was so cute!!

Easter!!

We had such a great Easter! I left my camera in Ogden so I haven't been able to post the pictures. We went to Sasha's in Farmington on Saturday and the weather was so nice down there. Avree loved the Easter Egg Hunt. Grandma Sherry had brought a lot of candy to find and of course the golden egg (It always has money in it.) Which Boston found of course! We also got to go to the park and color eggs. So much fun!! Then on Sunday the Easter bunny came. Avree was convinced that Santa brought everything and we had to keep reminding her that it was the Easter Bunny.

As I said in my last post we just got back from St. George. It was the annual Spring Break trip with my family. It was so beautiful. It was like in the 70's the whole time and not a cloud in the sky. We had so much fun swimming and just being outside. It was just what I needed to get me through the rest of the winter here.

A Quick Update!

We just got back from a beautiful week in St. George and I will post pics as soon as I can. We had a great time with all of the clan. I just wanted to tell a quick story about the dentist visit we had today. A month or so ago we went for the first time to the dentist with Avree. She was so good and let them brush her teeth and she thought all of the tools were so cool. Well turns out she had a couple little cavities. (She takes after her dad, obviously!!) So today we had her appointment to have her fillings done and it was quite entertaining. They do what they call a consciouses sedation for little kids when doing fillings so they give them this stuff make them a little foggy but they are still awake. Well I guess every kid reacts to the medicine differently. Avree was so funny!!! The whole procedure only took about 20 minutes and so I went to the recovery room to get her and she was just laying there. The nurse was sitting with us just making sure that she was o.k. and she brought up Dora. Of course Avree loves Dora and went nuts as soon as she mentioned her. She started singing the songs and telling the nurse about Boots the monkey and even speaking a little Spanish:) That crazy girl!! So we were finally free to go after about a half hour of Dora talk. We got out into the waiting room and I was trying to get her coat on. All the while she can't sit up and is talking 90 miles and hour. So we get it on and she leans over as close to me as she can get and says "I Love You Mooom!" It was the cutest thing ever. Everyone in the waiting room was cracking up. Then she starts counting in Spanish again. I guess it was good entertainment for everyone! They all said goodbye to her and we were off to get Kason at Grandma's. It was quite a funny experience. She entertained my mom and I for the afternoon. My mom even made a video of her trying to walk and falling down a few times. She looked like she was drunk!! So that is our update for now. I will put some pics of St. George on as soon as I get my camera fixed!!
