Family Reunion Fun!!

Last weekend we had the Labrum-Whyte family reunion!! It is something we do every other year with Nick's extended family. This year Nick's mom and dad were in charge and we stayed at Harbor Village at Bear Lake (one of our favorite places). We had a blast!! The first night we got there and had dinner behind the condo's. Then on Saturday we headed to the lake for the day. The kids got to play in the sand and we took our boat and rented another so that everyone could go out and ski/wakeboard/tube. We stayed the whole day at the lake and got to have some fun and relax. Then we went back to the condo's for dinner. After dinner Nick's cousin Jessica brought out all of her jewelry and we had a jewelry party in our condo! We stayed up way to late and chatted with all of the girls, and we got to buy some awesome jewelry!! On Sunday we had the 'testimony meeting' and everyone of course got a little emotional. Krista read some awesome stories and we all said goodbye! Avree especially had a good time because Jessica has twin girls that are 3 too! Reese and Riley are so cute and Avree asked "Mom, where are my twins?" every night when we went to bed. We had so much fun this year at the reunion it just reminds us how important our family is! Thanks so much Neil and Sherry for all of your hard work! You did an awesome job and we had so much fun. Here are some pictures I took while we were there.

One of the things we love most about summer is the 4th of July!! Fireworks, BBQ's, Hanging Out with Family, Parades, Water Fun, etc.. So here are some pics of our holiday this year! We were so busy but we had a blast!
Also our other favorite activity in the summer is going waverunning! Avree had her first tube ride and loved it. Also Nick tried to teach me to wakeboard:( I think I drank most of the lake. Maybe next time. Nick got to wakeboard most of the day and loved it. Wow we have had a busy summer! But we have enjoyed every minute of it!

Well we had a great birthday yesterday (or as Avree says "lesternight!") We partied all day long! We went to swimming lessons and then to the park to play and have lunch. Then we had my family and Nick's family over for cake and ice cream that evening! It was so much fun for us and for Avree. She got a drawing set from Grandma Sherry and as soon as they got to our house she said, " Can I open my drawing thing?" She knew exactly what it was! She had been asking about it for a long time and was so excited to open it. She got so much stuff from everyone! Thank you to everyone for the great presents! She is such a spoiled girl!! She loved her Barbie Jeep and was driving everyone around giving them rides. We had a few crashes, but no one was hurt :) She loved having everyone at our house and was so sad to see them go! It was a great day and I hope she had a great birthday. I can't believe she is three already! I had a little cry in the car thinking about how much she has grown and how fast it has gone!

Avree, I love you so much. You are so smart, funny and the cutest little thing ever! You can always make me laugh and I love your hugs and kisses. I can't imagine my life without you! It would be pretty boring. You have taught me so much in your three little years and I thank my Heavenly Father every day for you!!

We have been having so much fun lately in the water! I guess that's what summertime is for huh! Last Thursday Nick took the day off and we took the waverunner to the Dam. We wakeboarded, skiied, and rode the tube! It was such a blast. Then on Monday we went to Cherry Hill to celebrate Nick's sister Lyndsay's birthday, and Avree's a little early! It was such a fun day that I didn't even take any pictures. We were too busy floatin' the Lazy River, sliding down Cardiac Canyon and playin' in the pool! Maybe next time I will get some good shots! And also Avree has been taking swimming lessons at the Logan Aquatic Center and she absolutely loves it! She always wants to stay longer and swim with her teacher Jackie!! What a funny girl! To Move or Not to Move... That is the Question!?!?

Our House that We Absolutely Love!!

So lately we have been looking at homes around the valley and found an awesome house in Providence that we LOVE! So we told the guy that we wanted to make an offer but didn't feel comfortable doing that until we had our house up for sale. We wanted to see if anyone was interested. But after putting our house on KSL have not had much luck in selling. Probably because I cannot bear to put the sign up in the yard!! I know I am weird but I have been driving around with it in my car and cannot put it up. So then I took it in the house and I see it every day but I always think... oh i will put it up tomorrow! I have prayed about this decision for about two or three weeks and NOTHING! So maybe we are just supposed to stay where we are.. I don't know.


So if there is anyone out there who has advice for me that would be great. Even if I don't know you. I would welcome any comments!!! (I am using the blog to vent as you can tell.)

Potty Trained.....I Think!!

The last few days have been crazy! We have been on and off the potty and in and out of the bathroom like a thousand times...., but I think we are finally pretty much potty trained:) We finally ventured out in "big girl panties" today. We went to Wal-Mart and to lunch and she stayed dry the whole time. I am so proud of her. We didn't really do anything she just decided the other day that it was time and we are so glad! And now I only have to change one bum instead of two:) But don't they have infant potty training... ha ha just kidding wouldn't that be nice!


I highly recommend this book to anyone out there! It is Avree's favorite, she knows every word. And it is a BIG board book so that is nice!

Wow I feel old!! Last night my cute brother and niece graduated from MCHS!! Crazy! I love these two so much. They are amazing kids!! Well I guess they aren't kids anymore but hey they will always be kids to me. Here are some things I love about each of them.

Jordan-always fun to joke around with and goof off with, fun-outgoing personality, gets along with everybody, likes to give me crap (I guess that's what little brother's do best!!), can always make me smile no matter how bad my day is, the CUTEST uncle ever!! my kids love him and I think he likes them maybe a little... ha ha.. we love you so much jo-jo and congrats on graduating!! good luck on the mission! we know you will be a great missionary!

Kayla-gives me a big hug everytime I see her, keeps me up on great music-gossip-fashion etc.., fun to go shopping with, great friend to everyone, tells it like it is, so good with my kids, great athlete!! -she is amazing and I am not just saying that because I am her aunt!!, keeps me laughing always!! we love you too kay, and congrats on graduating and good luck with whatever you decide to do in the future!!
