Rockin!!

This past week Nick and I went to the Nickelback concert! It was awesome!! They were a little wild but we had a great time with Sasha, Kevin, Ash & Gavin!! The music was great and they sounded so good live. Thanks for going with us you guys we had a blast!!

We had a great time with my family at Bear Lake last week. We had two great boating days, mini golf, volleyball, good food and good times!!

Busy Busy!

Wow summer is flying by and I can't believe it. We have been pretty busy! This past weekend we went to the Cache County Fair. Avree remembered it from last year and was so excited to go! She loves the rides and the animals. So of course we had to take her! They both rode a few rides then we went to see the animals! Then on Saturday we went to Bear Lake with Nick's family. It was pretty cold up there but still fun to hang out and play outside with the kids. We even did a little mini golfing! Boston beat us all of course! Then we celebrated Nick's birthday with a great dinner and some cake. I can't believe he is 28! We are getting old! Then we headed home and had another party on Sunday with my family. Nick's actual birthday was yesterday but I had to be at a party at work so we celebrated early! I love you babe I hope you had a great birthday!! And now we are off to Bear Lake again for the rest of the week!! Yay! I will post the pics when we get back.

A Party for a Princess!!

Wow I am so behind on blogging. It just seems like summer is flying by! Avree turned four on the 26th and I can't believe my little girl is four. Time is going by faster and faster. She is such a sweet little girl and she is such a good helper. She loves to help Kason and they are the best of friends. We had a princess party complete with tiaras, dress up stuff, fingernail painting, etc. All kinds of girly stuff! She loved every minute of it. So here are the pics from her party! We had 12 little girls at my house! They were all so cute and made Avree's birthday so special!!

Girls Weekend in Park City!!

We had so much fun over the weekend in Park City! It was Hannah's birthday on Friday and then Sherry's birthday on Sunday so we celebrated both. We had a beautiful condo at the Canyons thanks to Terrin and Lyndsay! We shopped at the Gateway on Friday and had lunch at the Training Table. It was Hannah's choice for her Birthday. Then we headed up to the condo to let the girls swim! On Saturday we shopped all day at the outlets and then went to dinner at Baja Cantina. One of our favorites! Nick and Neil and Kason drove up to have dinner with us. We sang to Sherry and Hannah and they got to wear the sombreros! They looked so cute. So of course my kids wanted to wear them. Kason didn't want to take it off. He loved it and he looked so cute!! Then on Saturday night we did pedicures and just hung out at the condo. On Sunday it was Sherry's Birthday so we went to downtown Park City and they were having a street festival. They had all kinds of jewelry and food and bands playing. It was fun to walk around and look at all of the cool things. After that we headed to Texas Roadhouse for lunch. They sang to Sherry and even got her up on the saddle. She was so fun and such a good sport! We had a blast all weekend laughing and joking. It is so fun just to hang out with all of the girls! Thanks for a great weekend. (You know who you are!) We love you and had so much fun celebrating your birthdays! I only have a couple of pics. I will add them later!!

Health Days Parade

We have had some busy weekends. A couple of weekends ago was the Smithfield City celebration. Health Days was fun. We went to the parade and got lots of candy then went to the little carnival after. They had lots of booths and some fun rides for the kids. Avree is my little thrill seeker and loves rides so she had to go on one. She loved every minute of it! She was squished between Haley & Hannah and all we could see was her cute little face. It was so cute!!
Then this last weekend was Avree's dance review for LaShars. She loves dance and says she misses it already. We went to the rehearsal for two hours and while we were gone Daddy & Kason went and got her some roses for after the review. I thought that was so sweet. What a nice daddy!! She was so cute dancing. It was a busy but fun weekend!

Have to Laugh or I will Cry!

So today was a little crazy. I work a little earlier on Tuesday's so that I can have Wednesday's off. So I was hurrying to get the kids ready and myself ready. I hadn't got much sleep and finally fell asleep about 6ish this morning so of course I slept in and was rushing all morning. So after getting the kids bathed and fed I headed off to get in the tub quickly while they were playing. I was relaxing in the tub and thought how wonderful it was just listening to them play. I finished my bath and got dressed and it got so quiet so I began rushing because we all know that when it gets quiet, it means trouble. I went out into the living room and everything was fine. But there was a scent that was so strong. I couldn't figure out what it was. So I asked Avree. She politely told me that she was sharing her chapstick with Kason and was so proud of herself. So as soon as I knew I looked at him and he was covered. Mango Melon chapstick was oozing out of his mouth! Yep! He had eaten the whole thing. Gross! He then proceeded to puke twice so I was scrubbing the carpet and trying to clean him up. So then after that I forgot to leave the carseat and had to go take it back to my mom who was in Logan.

Thats how the whole morning went! Just one thing after another. Have you ever had a morning like that? Where everything seems to go wrong! I can laugh about it now. At the time I wanted to cry. So are the joys of being a mom. I love my kids so much. I wouldn't trade them for the world and I am glad they keep me on my toes. I am also greatful that my Heavenly Father gave me a sense of humor so that I can look back at these times and laugh. I am sure he does the same thing with us. He is watching us all of the time and wondering why we do the things we do. I guess he knows that we will hopefully learn from it and someday be able to laugh about it.

So to all of you moms out there who have had a day like this! Just know that you are not the only one. We all have them!
